Hand pressed concrete countertops are made using a special blend of mix that is much stiffer than your typical concrete. Pressed concrete countertops are packed by hand using an almost clay-like mixture and are usually crafted to leave deliberate veins and voids. The veins are then filled in with a contrasting cement grout our slurry and lightly polished; the resulting product is a beautiful terrazzo and/or marble finish.
